Is Valentino Collaborated with GAP !!!! Its so true
Our all time favorite Famous Designer Valentino collaborated with the Brand call GAP !!! Dream designer is designing all commericalised clothes and getting no good response...!!! how sad is all , that perceptive towards Valentino is not changing in audience vision and mind.
Following in the steps of Pierre Hardy and Roland Mouret, the luxury house, responsible for Jessica Alba’s show-stopping gown at the Venice Film Festival, will design a capsule collection inspired by the all-American brand’s basics.
Sadly for stateside fashion fans, the pieces will only be sold at Gap’s new Milan flagship store and by select European retailers.We are very pleased that Gap thought of us as a partner for this important project, as it brings together the iconic world of Valentino and Gap's fashion essentials. In this way, Valentino and Gap synthesize the current trend of combining luxury with basics.’
Is it us or are GAP particularly on fashion fire at the moment? First of all they set their amazing trouser range loose on us unsuspecting shoppers, then there was their latest collection of Pierre Hardy shoes and now - Valentino!

After having look of Gregory Parkinson lightened collection about women who are actually looking forward to comfort more than spending lots of money on season fashion , highly expensive clothes . Here we talked to Parkinson about his point of view about , different BIG names of Fashion designer's wear and his collection. He is Quite COMFORT with his COMFORT collection for women.
With a 16-year-old brand to his credit,Gregory Parkinson is one of the most experienced fashion week newcomers around. He's hardly hurting for clients (Barneys and Linda Dresner are longtime stockists), but the L.A.-based, English-born designer decided to use his CFDA/VogueFashion Fund award nomination to raise his profile in New York and internationally this season. And he definitely had the goods to do so at his mannequin presentation tonight.
Parkinson's first passion is fabrics. One of the dresses in the 16-look lineup was hand-stitched together from 24 separate swatches of material, and most of the assembled pieces were over-dyed. The effects were positively kaleidoscopic, so he was smart to keep the silhouettes fairly simple: a deep V-tank cut from an abstract floral was shown over a full, ankle-scraping skirt; lace and mesh bed jackets topped to-the-floor dresses; and the collection's one pair of pants, in over-dyed leopard spot, was worn with a belted jacket in a mismatched print. Parkinson's most popular silhouette is a tank dress. "There's something about them," he said. "No matter how many a woman has, she'll keep buying them." You can chalk that up to ease—comfort is one of Parkinson's big selling points. Another: "Women want things that last for more than one season," he noted. One thing's for certain: With its vibrating colors and bold prints, Parkinson's collection looks like nothing else we've seen so far for Spring 2011.

NEW LAUNCHES !! Rupert sanderson Shoes!
It's all go at the shop on Bruton Place today - most of the autumn/winter 2009-10 collection has just been delivered. My fave pair has to be Seleste (below).
The heel, inspired by master Italian designer Signore Gio Ponti, stands 110mm high and appears to look broken - when in fact it's totally balanced.
Perfect form and function.

I'M CRAZY About Shoes But this !!!
Deafened and very bedraggled, I found the Shoe Gallery and happily collapsed onto a gorgeous velvet banquet. Beautifully designed by Canadian architect Jamie Fobert, the department is a shoe haven with all the usual posh designers - each in their own room. I find the assistants a bit pushy - one tried to sell me a pair of Ferragammo’s with the highest and most lethal looking heels and tulle nude ties on a Perspex sole. The shoes would literally be a killer on me.
Marginally cheaper shoes are displayed on genius pewter tabletops and original wooden lasts. Christian Louboutin is opened his room on 2nd sept Fashionistas, lets give him the JLS treatment and get down there!
